Why consumer Affairs authority chairman was resigned?








Chairman of consumer Affairs authority, Mr Rumy Marzook has resigned from the post. He has submitted his resignation letter to Secretary, Ministry of Industrial and Commerce yesterday (3rd June).
Marzook has resigned from the post of chairman due to a dispute he is having with Minister Rishard Badurdeen and Marzook has served the authority for 9 years.
According to the political analysts, there is a tendency to resigning senior post from their posts who were appointed by former president during his tenure, with an objective to topple the present government. They have quoted similar examples as resigning of Director General-Customs, and  director from Bribery and Corruption Commission.
